Land, air, and water are important topics in Montessori education, and I’m excited to see some new and unique printables for land, air, and water! The land, air, and water transportation printables from Every Star Is Different are perfect for preschool through early elementary!
Disclosure: I’ve been given a copy of these materials to review. My opinions are honest and my own. This post contains affiliate links (at no cost to you).
I’ve loved all the materials I’ve used from Every Star Is Different. I’m always amazed at the thorough research that goes into each printable pack!
Here are the Land, Air, and Water Transportation Printables Available from Every Star Is Different:
Every Star Is Different has a new Montessori-Inspired Transportation Bundle for preschool through early elementary! And it’s on sale through tonight, January 30, 2024, at 75% off (only $14.99)!!!
You’ll find 415 pages of land, air, and water transportation activities. We’ve only done four activities from the bundle so far, but there are so many more possibilities! I love that it has so many different activities for a variety of ages! Many of the activities are ones that adults can even learn from!
I appreciate that Every Star Is Different spends many hours researching their printables. That saves me so much time and is ideal for even the most curious, detailed learners!
The activities I focused on are great for kindergarten, early elementary, and advanced preschoolers. My grandkids are 5 (almost 6), 6, and 10, and there are many more activities they could do from the bundle. Check out the Table of Contents below to see all the activities are available for preschoolers, too!

This was a great activity for focusing on articles a, an, and the with my almost-6-year-old grandson, Caleb. We used our grammar symbols along with the cards for an interesting hands-on grammar activity.
My grandkids are using the Land Vehicle Road Sign Nomenclature Cards to make road signs for the vehicles they play with at my home. There are 60 different road signs in the printable pack! Preschoolers could enjoy matching a limited number of road signs or making road signs like my grandkids did. I wouldn’t offer as many road sign options as I did with my grandkids.
With my grandkids, I let them choose whichever ones they wanted to use. They cut the signs out, glued them to craft sticks, and stuck them in sticky putty (although playdough would probably work well, too).
I’m keeping a small basket of road signs with the attached name of each sign for future reference when the signs are being used.

The Air Vehicle Maximum Speed Cards are available in both kph and mph, so elementary-age kids could focus on those comparisons. I prepared an activity using some Safari Ltd. In the Sky TOOB vehicles along with golden bead materials for mph. I didn’t use every vehicle printable available for this but chose 7 different air vehicles. The space shuttle would have been extra fascinating, but it would require 17 thousand cubes (or printable thousand cubes)!

Caleb was very helpful when I asked if he had a LEGO boat he could put together for me to use with this. He had a LEGO City Police Patrol Boat from another Christmas that he assembled for me. (Note: I think that particular LEGO set has gone up quite a bit in price since then.) Any type of boat would work for this if you want to add a model like we did.
I just used the Parts of a Boat Nomenclature and Description Cards that worked with the boat Caleb had. I printed out an extra set to make labels with. Caleb was very interested! He cut out the labels, checked the nomenclature and description cards to be sure he had the correct labels, and attached them to the boat. I loved this activity, too, because it was the first time I’ve actually studied parts of a boat … and I loved seeing all the work Caleb did with it!
