My daughter always loved dance and was a professional ice dancer. I developed a real appreciation for ballet and all types of dance from her. She would have loved the new Montessori-Inspired ballet printables from Every Star Is Different! But they’re also perfect for introducing a child to dance even if it’s just for dance and music appreciation.

Right now, we’re just focusing on Tchaikovsky’s three most famous ballets, although it would be fun to focus on the other composers and ballets included in the Montessori-Inspired Ballet Printable Pack in the future.

My 4-year-old granddaughter, Sophia, loved working with the Ballet First Letter Sounds Clip Cards using 1″ clothespins. They require a lot of fine-motor coordination, so I don’t recommend them for preschoolers who are just learning to use clothespins. Sophia has excellent fine-motor coordination, so she had fun working with the tiny clothespins. I added our movable alphabet for extra letter focus, which Sophia really enjoyed.
My 4-year-old grandson, Caleb, is the one whose mom is my daughter, Chrissy Chitwood. Chrissy was the professional ice dancer who always loved ballet. Caleb hasn’t shown a special interest in dance for himself, but he loves the Story Orchestra series and had fun grading the colors in Color Box 3 and learning French words using the French Ballet Color Nomenclature Cards.

My 8-year-old granddaughter, Zoey, has memorized times tables, but I wanted to review skip counting by 4s on the hundred board with the Pas de quatre Skip Counting by 4s printable. I like to use see-through glass gems to give a clear visual example of math work, and this was a simple, fun way to reinforce the times tables and introduce a bit of French language.
