My kids used to say that they didn’t know which was their favorite holiday – Thanksgiving or Christmas. Thanksgiving’s emphasis on gratitude, family, and special meal memories is priceless.
There are lots of amazing activities online that can make the holiday even more fun in the days leading up to it. Here are some Montessori-inspired Thanksgiving activities that can work well at home or school:

Not much “montessori” in our week last week but some activities for toddlers all the same- we had no plan last week so everything is a bit mismatched. Look forward to reading the other entries.
Thanks for hosting!

Okay, so you begin to make my head swim with ‘I want to…”, “I need to…” with these awesome collection posts. I need to remember simplicity, choice and pace when i read them! 🙂
Deb says
Thanks so much for your comment, Martianne! I sometimes feel guilty offering so many ideas. It would be easy for parents to feel overwhelmed and inferior if they think of all the things they “could” be doing. I hope everyone realizes they should just pick what they’re drawn to and what feels right for their unique family. “Simplicity, choice and pace” are awesome ideas to keep in mind! 🙂
Impossible Mom says
Yay! I am super excited to link up! I actually waited all week! This may be one of my favorite Linky Parties! And I nailed the theme w Gardening {plants we eat-including GMO links for kids}- which IMP kinda fits w your post about Thanksgiving!
Deb says
Thanks so much, Impossible Mom! I love your excitement for learning! And I really appreciate the time you take in finding all the nature-friendly links. Montessori was definitely into helping children develop a true appreciation of nature. 🙂

Deb says
Thanks, Leann! I really appreciate you reminding me about your post – it’s awesome! I had even gone to your blog and looked for Thanksgiving in your sidebar but still missed your post. I’ll be adding both your posts to this when your next one is published! 🙂
