If your child attends a Montessori school, you have extra opportunities to find a very special teacher appreciation gift. While you might want to get a traditional gift, you might want to get something uniquely Montessori. I have ideas for both here. They even work for Montessori homeschool teachers!

The Best Gifts for Montessori Teachers
As a former Montessori teacher and school owner, I clearly remember the types of gifts that were my favorites. The very best gifts are a personalized thank you. A card or letter (the best!) from the student is perfect in itself (or in addition to another gift if you prefer).
The best gifts for teachers are always ones that are heartfelt and made or purchased for the specific teacher and his or her unique interests and needs. If you’ve become comfortable observing your child’s needs and interests, you can use those skills to observe your child’s teacher’s needs and interests, too.
Gift Cards That Almost Any Teacher Will Love
Teachers of all kinds are known for using their own money to purchase materials for their classrooms. Most will love a gift card that can be used to purchase materials or classroom supplies. Or maybe they’ll want to purchase something for themselves! It’s always best if you can combine a gift card with a personalized card or letter.
Etsy gift cards can be used in so many different ways! Teachers who want to buy a Montessori material for their classroom will be able to use them as well as teachers who want to purchase a special gift for themselves. I especially love Etsy for its wide variety of handmade products by individuals and small businesses.
Montessori Services gift certificates are perfect for Montessori teachers who love to buy materials for their classrooms (or their homes).
Of course, most teachers, Montessori or otherwise, will love an Amazon gift card, which can be used for classroom materials, classroom supplies, books, music, or almost anything else! Amazon gift cards come in many prices and styles. These aren’t all gift cards for Amazon, either. You can get gift cards for many other businesses through Amazon as well.
Uniquely Montessori Gifts
If you think your child’s teacher would enjoy a gift created especially for Montessorians, check out the fabulous ones that are available!
My Bella Montessori on Etsy has some amazing handmade Montessori creations.
One of my favorites is the Montessori ornament bead stair with pink tower cube in glass pearl beads (shown) or wooden beads.
There are two options of Montessori lanyards. (I love option B!)
There are even Montessori pink tower cube earrings!
If your child’s teacher likes to wear novelty t-shirts, you’ll find a number of Montessori t-shirts on Etsy.
If your child’s teacher has a baby, you’ll even find sweet Montessori onesies like this baby onesie with the Montessori tinomial cube theorem by Hoshiko Studio on Etsy.
Grace & Courtesy has a wide variety of Montessori-themed items on RedBubble.
You’ll find cute Montessori-themed tote bags, such as this Montessori World Map Tote Bag by Grace & Courtesy on Redbubble. This style isn’t available in 2020, but there are still some Montessori-themed ones.
There are even phone cases by Grace and Courtesy on Redbubble.
Grace & Courtesy also has Montessori-themed kids’ and babies’ clothes on Redbubble! The best way to see all the products is to click on the design you like and then on the “Shop All Products” link for that design.
Give an Experience
If you know what your child’s teacher loves to do in his or her spare time, you could give a truly unique gift of an experience. There are many sites offering experiences, although some of the most affordable ones are available through Groupon.
But whatever you give, just give it with love and with your child’s teacher in mind.
