The Wonder Years didn’t do a matching activity but had a tasting activity using bowls of flavored water.

In his sensory activities post at 1+1+1=1, John Bowman didn’t use matching tasting bottles, but used unsweetened chocolate, salt, sugar, and a lemon to help children identify the four basic tastes.

This is a great collection of ideas! My mother has saved several of those brown tasting bottles for me because she uses liquid Stevia. I’ll use them this year in a tasting activity.
