It can feel overwhelming to try to prepare a Montessori-friendly home, but it doesn’t have to. If you haven’t seen the “Montessori in Our Home” videos on YouTube, you’ll find they’re a simple, sweet introduction to Montessori at home. I love that they don’t require expensive materials or an elaborate setup.
Here are the “Montessori in Our Home” videos part 1 and part2:
If you’d like more ideas for using Montessori at home, you can find a number of different levels of preparation in my “How to Start Using Montessori at Home” post. You’ll find even more on my Montessori Resources page.
UPDATE: You can find many more Montessori at home videos at the Living Montessori Now YouTube channel.

Thanks for posting these videos. I incorporate some Montessori principles into our schooling at home (I also work part-time and my kids are in part-time daycare/preschool) but I often get overwhelmed trying to figure out the best way to do this. It’s great seeing how other parents have accomplished this goal.
I’m also a new blogger and appreciate and am inspired by all the great content on your site. Keep up the good work!
