How I would have loved these resources during my years teaching in Montessori schools or in my own homeschool! I still find it amazing that there are so many free Montessori materials available online today. What great resources for parents and teachers alike!

The little experience I had with using free online downloads for teaching was wonderful. I had WAY too much fun during my 2006-07 master’s program in early childhood studies. Because I had completed my B.A. so many years ago (and before the Internet), it was almost magical for me to do much of my research online and find free Montessori materials online to use in my school placement at a day nursery.
With free online downloads, it’s easy to create professional-looking Montessori materials. For school or home use, all that’s needed to prepare most of the materials is paper or cardstock, printer and printer ink, paper cutter or scissors, and lamination (which is preferred but not essential for home use). Montessori Print Shop has some great instructions for preparing Montessori materials.
Following is a listing of sites with free Montessori downloads.
Note: Almost all of these sites also has Montessori printables available for sale as well. I’m just sharing the free printables here, but if you look around on the sites, you’ll find the printables available for sale, too.

Do you happen to know anything about Miss Barbara and the Great Lessons pages? – her site seems to be down as well.
Deb Chitwood says
Thanks for letting me know about that, Suzanne! It’s so frustrating when that happens. I’ll leave the link up for awhile in case it’s just a temporary problem. I’m worried the site may be down permanently, though. Deb

I’m visiting from the Learn and Play link-up on Every Star is Different. I’m new to Montessori but I love making printables. I have over 80 printables for free on my blog (inourpond.blogspot.com).
Thanks for the list. I have a bunch of tabs open for new websites. I visit this one frequently from Pinterest. You always have so many good ideas for my own “Mommy School” lessons. Thanks.

Hi,
I’m Lily from Malaysia. I would like to set up a Montessori space for my babies and slowly develop it to becomes a Montessori pre-school (hopefully). It’s so great that I’ve found your website and it is really helpful! I am really appreciate it. Thank you 🙂

Thank you so much for all the links! I’m a new homeschool mom who’s a little overwhelmed. I’m just trying to do my best and find our groove. After reading and studying my daughter’s personality and learning style I feel like montessori will be a great fit for her. She was in a montessori type public school class for the first 5 years of school and thrived and then it was discontinued and she crashed at which point we decided to homeschool. Sit down, be still and be quiet definitely doesn’t work for her. Your site has been a God send.
Carolyn Lucento says
HI Deb,
I wasn’t sure if this would be the place to contact you about my new “Subscriber’s Freebie Collection” at my website. I set it up a few weeks ago and I have some very nice Montessori materials there, including my newly revised eBook. I also just added a page at my website where my newest feature, Montessori Magic Fridays will be archived from my FB postings. For the past several months, I have been posting a free resource each week that goes along with my theme of the week that includes articles, youtube videos and activities from around the web, including my own activity downloads and my mp3 music downloads. I would love to be included in your resource list above. Please let me know if that is something for this list!

I enjoy reading your posts etc. I just have one question.
Is the updated way of making n/c cards. The correctly highlighted part instead of the red, accepted by the Montessori international association?
Reason for asking, I would like to start changing the ones I have made
