If you’re a Montessori homeschooler, you might like to buy special gifts of Montessori materials for your homeschool. Or, grandparents might like to buy a gift for your homeschool. Today, I’ll share my gift guide with ideas of Montessori materials and Montessori-friendly products that would be helpful for Montessori homeschools. I’ll focus mainly here on materials for preschoolers through age 7.
For elementary Montessori materials, see my post “Where to Buy Montessori Elementary Albums and Materials.”
Following is a variety of products I think are wonderful for Montessori homeschools. Choose according to the materials you need and your budget. I think it’s great to give Montessori gifts at any time of year. You don’t need to worry about having a complete schoolroom to begin with. It’s fine to gradually add materials. And many materials can be made as DIY Montessori materials.

Materials for the Traditional Montessori Curriculum
A variety of trays are especially helpful for Montessori preschoolers. The Montessori Services large plastic trays are a helpful size, durable, attractive and stack well. They work well for many activities.
Montessori Services medium size trays are also a helpful size, durable, attractive, and stack well.
Multicraft Wooden 5-Piece Tray Set is inexpensive, stacks well, and gives a nice variety of sizes.
It would be hard to go wrong with a Montessori Services practical life material. It’s always nice to have at least one especially attractive practical life activity.
For the sensorial, math, and language materials I’m recommending Alison’s Montessori value-line materials and Kid Advance materials on Amazon. I reviewed these Alison’s Montessori value-line sensorial materials: Pink Tower, Brown Stair, Red Rods and Stand, and Natural Geometric Solids in my first Alison’s Montessori Review. In another post, I reviewed Alison’s Montessori value-line Cylinder Blocks and Knobless Cylinders: Alison’s Montessori Cylinder Blocks and Knobless Cylinders Review.) I especially like the quality of the Alison’s Montessori materials.

This week’s Montessori Monday linky is here: https://livingmontessorinow.com/2015/08/24/montessori-monday-20-apple-phonics-activities/. There’s a lot going on in that post, so you have to go way to the bottom to find the Montessori Monday linky. Thanks for linking up! 🙂 Deb
